Role Summary: The Communications Internship is a project-based experience designed to offer hands-on exposure to GE's Global Operations Center in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.
Essential Responsibilities: The internship is designed to give current college students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program exposure to GE strategic initiatives and the roles Communicators play in achieving the business' objectives. This will be a 10-12 week internship starting in Sept 2016 with a minimum of 20 hours per week and you may work on organizational communications, marketing communications, public relations, or executive communications
Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Communications, English /
Journalism, Media Studies, Digital Media, Public Relations, Advertising, Marketing or related field of study
Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.0
GPA in major greater than or equal to 3.0
Demonstrated examples of using an analytical approach to problem solving
Sharp business acumen
Sharp analyticaland judgment skills
Leadership experience outside of the classroom
