The Technical Program Manager – Digital Technology and Initiatives will report to the Director, Digital Technology & Initiatives and will be a hands-on leader who will be responsible for the implementation of the GE digital metrics. The ideal candidate should be process oriented, and have a collaborative working-style to help accelerate the implementation of the digital platforms supporting one of the world’s largest, digital software businesses.
Lead the implementation of GE Digital metrics and analytics. Working across functional groups to define metrics, identify data sources, and lead implementation of automating GE Digital metrics.
Partner with the data lake, data engineering, and HIT teams to develop and design solutions for strategic GE Digital business initiatives
Lead & manage gathering functional requirements and providing them to the data engineering team to build transformations to enable metric reporting
Responsible for providing line of sight to data quality and gaps where issues need to be addressed
Partner with a global team of technical and functional resources aligned to the digital metrics project
Actively work with cross functional teams, management and key stake holders to program manage, review progress and functional delivery on a regular committed basis
Responsible for partnering with GE Digital Operations team to build out reporting capabilities
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of work experience in IT
Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing digital solutions
Minimum 3 years of direct experience implementing data management processes and capabilities
Minimum 3 years of direct experience simplifying, designing, implementing systems
Ability to establish credibility and influence technical and non-technical team members
Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to apply technology solutions to solve business problems
Understanding of Change Management processes in a large IT environment
Familiarity with iterative development methodologies
Energetic, technical innovator who will bring their expertise along with a keen drive to learn new technologies
Possess an operational mindset to build out processes to digitize operations
Ability to hit tight deadlines and work under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills: verbal, written and listening
Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
Demonstrated customer focus - evaluate decisions through the eyes of the customer,
Build strong customer relationships and create processes with customer viewpoints
