Role Summary: As a developer, you will work as part of the Development Team and take direction from the development team lead. You should be able to maintain existing code as well as create new applications from user stories. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about programming and software design. A good candidate will be self-driven and willing to continuously learn new technologies as well as be able to handle existing code programs.
Essential Responsibilities: • Researching, and collaborating with IT on new application implementation. • Developing existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification. • Writing and testing code and then refining and rewriting as necessary, in close collaboration with IT enhancement teams. • Working closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic artists, designers, developers, systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals to understand project requirements. • Consulting colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems and with a view to writing or modifying current systems. • Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications. • Support web analytics development and implementation together with central Business Intelligence teams. • Maintain in unison with IT resources code and implementation. • Code maintenance and documentation.
