Role Summary: Responsible for testing a component, feature and or feature set. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Contributes to quality engineering discussions.
Essential Responsibilities: Influence & Impact:
Owns medium sized quality engineering tasks; and delivers while mentoring and helping team members. • Makes technology choices at individual level and has ability to analyze impact. • Applies principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. • Expert in core data structures and algorithms. • Integrates project testing with continuous-integration process. • Works with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions. • Provides expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project. • Develops and executes maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Engineering). Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Software Quality Test.
Hands on Experience in HP Quality Center/ALM or similar tools Hands on Experience in Microsoft Azure PaaS Application Development Hands on Experience in RESTful services and service bus testing Hands on Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio tool chain Hands on Experience in Test Automation QTP/QAComplete/Cucumber/SOAPUI/Appium Hands on Experience in Full Stack Testing Hands on Experience in SaaS and Cloud Testing Hands on Experience in Exposure to CI common systems such as Jenkins
