Role Summary:
The person will be part of the Data Sciences team of Digital Services Solutions engineering team and develop analytics for meeting the digital objectives of the Aviation services business.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Data exploration and model builidng targeting given CTQs (field issue investigations, shop cost investigations)
- Understand the correlation of the various engine parameters and provide insight using data
- Execute the design, analysis, and development of assigned projects adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
- Communicate results, findings and observations in clear and concise documents (presentations, reports, technical articles) to peers and program leader in formal/informal reviews
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
- Effective multitasking and deliver on time with quality
- Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
- Guide young engineers

• Candidates should hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree preferably in Statistics/Computer Science/Information Systems from a reputed institution and an excellent academic record.
• Hands-on experience with projects involving Exploratory Data analysis, Model building, Model assessment, Pattern Recognition, machine learning
• Hands-on experience in information retrieval, architecture involving handling large volumes of data.
• Strong programming skills in R, Python etc
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Characteristics:
- Good Gas Turbine fundamentals understanding or experience would be viewed favourably
