Role Summary: This individual works on projects related to a particular function depending on their prior coursework and degree program.
Essential Responsibilities: The logistics intern works on warehousing and transportation projects and able to adapt and implement the theoretical studies in practice in professional business environment.
Support the daily work of Process Integration and Projects Leader, and Process Leader on Europe Level, and support the daily work of Logistics Leader in Eastern Europe
Participate on logistics meetings on Europe level
Responsible for the following up on the already implemented logistics processes, and KPI’s
Managing the daily import custom clearance with the contracted custom broker companies
Develops PowerPoint presentations and other graphic presentations to communicate progress, share best practices, or to provide updates.
May be asked to analyze logistics data with MS Excel or various other analysis tools
May be asked to organize conference calls between business leaders, and summarize meeting minutes
Performing assignments where trust and accuracy are required
Current enrollment in a degree program that will lead to a bachelors or equivalent degree in the function of logistics, warehousing, transportation in which the intern will work
Fluent in English in verbal and written
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, MS Excel and Outlook
Availability in 32-40 hours per week in flexible schedule
Effective time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities
Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones.
