Role Summary: This role is responsible for supporting the Northern & French-speaking Africa Advertising and Promotions Business Partners and Northern & French-speaking Africa
Essential Responsibilities: Field Marketing Manager in the development and implementation of Ad and Promotion strategies, leveraging advertising, exhibits, collaterals/sales tools production and digital communications platforms. This role coordinates with Vendors and internal Shared Services to develop and execute programs to deliver on marketing objectives.
• Develops and executes strategic Ad & Promo plans • Identifies proper Expert and Shared Service resources to leverage for program implementation • Provides Business Partners and/or Shared Services teams with access to needed content • Acts as gatekeeper—determining when Market Services/Shared Service materials are ready for marketing review • Ensures compliance of all Ad & Promo materials • Localizes global content for regional needs • Brand custodian for geographic region • Evaluates programs and reports their performance to marketing • Shares lessons learned across the team using established global processes • Responsible for media strategy development • Works with marketing leaders to establish S2 Ad & Promo Budget • Liaises with Communications team in Africa (PR & Org Comm) • Monitoring program success and reporting program results to marketing • Continually evaluating processes and strategies to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and tools designed for both the market and sales force
Qualifications/Requirements: Fluent in English and French (written & spoken). Arabic an advantage 2. Strong digital background 3. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 4. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 5. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Desired Characteristics: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field 2. 4+ years of experience in advertising or marketing communications or related field 3. Proven ability to motivate and work effectively with diverse, cross-functional global teams, multiple levels (including executive level) and outside vendors
4. Ability to influence, make recommendations and drive change at all levels of the company 5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 6. Proven track record of delivery to tight budgets and timelines 7. Strong analytical and process skills 8. Excellent knowledge of integrated communications strategy and the Marketing Mix (Print, Digital, Events)
