Role Summary:
Reporting to GM Technical Architecture Europe HC Digital, this leadership position is responsible for providing key advanced Imaging integration services to projects.
The main objectives are:


  • Management of the Imaging System Integration team, development and improvement of integration
  • Definition of the team strategy and plan for action
  • Active participation in project delivery, taking the role of technical director for complex projects, focusing on System Integration

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Manage the team: around 20 direct reports today. It includes coaching, career management, and training identification.
    • Identify improvement needs to constantly raise quality of the team, define and develop team strategy, develop team capacity planning
    • Coach and provide technical guidance to the team
    • Participate to delivery of healthcare projects as technical director or architect. This responsibility requires teamwork skills, capacity to organize and drive design and build activities and project management knowledge (planning, resource management, priority settings, communication skills, executive management reporting)
    • Being able to define integration processes for large and complex projects and being rigor on follow up
    • Support the EMEA sales team on key Integration topics and define integration concepts

      Qualifications/Requirements:

      • Imaging System Integration expertise
      • Good knowledge with industry standards such as XML, XSD, HTML, JSON
      • Good knowledge within healthcare standards such as IHE, HL7, DICOM, FHIR
      • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, FTP, SOAP and REST web services and SSL
      • Knowledge of using and configuring communication servers
      • Knowledge with SQL Databases and SQL scripting
      • Knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript, XSLT, Python, VBScript
      • Ability to analyze and optimize clinical workflows and dataflows in healthcare environment
      • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge or experience
      • IT degree or similar level of qualification or equivalent knowledge or experience
      • Experience of managing complex and large IT implementations
      • Fluent in English
      • Ability to create innovative, maintainable and sustainable integration solutions to resolve complex issues within the area of large healthcare IT implementations
      • Ability to build customer relationships at senior-levels
      • Ability to coach
      • Ability to travel
      • EU Work Permit
