Role Summary: The sourcing fulfilment material lead manages the Material fulfilment process for given Programs/Suppliers. Apply sourcing policy & interface between supplier & entity with respect to specifications, requirements & resolve problems through the application of expertise based upon precedents. The sourcing fulfilment material lead will have responsibility for work that is less defined in scope and utilise expertise to execute business objectives & effect short term & long term business goals.
• Drive accountability for operational excellence of assigned program. • Engage the business leadership team to develop and execute fulfilment processes that deliver enhanced productivity. • Provide weekly metrics to demonstrate and drive individual and team performance. • Understand and drive Lean initiatives internally and with suppliers. • Maintain, enhance and drive improvement of supplier OTD metrics. Create and execute a supplier performance culture to achieve performance of 95% OTD to need. • Integrate team to execute on timely RMA resolution. • Closely monitor supplier performance to plan and work with suppliers to manage any required recovery plans/actions. • Conduct capacity audits, track and escalate any red flags that impede supplier performance. • Provide advance warnings on perceived supplier delivery issues that could impact business goals and work collaboratively across the business to resolve/mitigate risk. • Support Toll Gate reviews in line with assigned program. • Ensure strategic alignment with Commodity Leaders in Make v Buy decisions and proposed LCC transitions. Demonstrate a positive impact on site inventory turns/performance.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience • Ability to demonstrate high performance within a Sourcing environment • Additional experience within Quality and/or Operations • Ability to travel globally up to 40% of the time • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, leadership and negotiation skills. • Demonstrated ability to influence others and lead small teams • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement best practices • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple and competing priorities • Knowledge of Oracle ERP • Ability to mentor, train and develop better processes • Strong customer mind set • Proven analytical and organizational ability with strong demonstrated Excel skills
