Role Summary:
This is a customer facing role responsible for winning business in the marine, stationary power and drilling market segment and managing a network of channel partners. Geographic scope of the role - Southern Europe.

Le/La titulaire de ce poste sera amené(e) à rencontrer des clients afin de décrocher des contrats sur les segments de marché Maritime, Centrales fixes et Forage, et devra gérer un réseau de partenaires intermédiaires. Il/Elle devra couvrir le Sud de l’Europe.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Establish, maintain and deepen relationships with key stakeholders at end-users, channel partners and key consultants in the assigned markets
  • Build opportunity pipeline, develop winning deal strategies and deliver on orders and sales target
  • Analyze & understand customer needs & feedback to turn into actionable plans and road maps

Principales responsabilités

  • Créer, entretenir et approfondir des relations avec les principales parties prenantes parmi les utilisateurs finaux, les partenaires intermédiaires et les consultants importants sur les marchés qui lui sont assignés
  • Créer une source d’opportunités, élaborer des stratégies permettant de remporter des contrats, et atteindre les objectifs fixés en matière de commandes et de ventes
  • Analyser et comprendre les besoins et les commentaires des clients afin de mettre sur pied des plans et des feuilles de route réalisables


    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience
    • Strong experience in Sales Origination and Commercial Proposals
    • Fluent in English language (writing, reading and speaking)
    • Ability to travel 50-75% of time
    • EU Work Permit


    • BAC+3 dans une université ou un établissement d’enseignement supérieur agréé(e) ou expériences/connaissances équivalentes
    • Solide expérience en identification des ventes et en propositions commerciales
    • Anglais courant (écrit, lu, parlé)
    • Mobilité : déplacements à prévoir, 50 à 75 % du temps
    • Permis de travail européen

    Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Working knowledge of the Marine, Stationary Power and drill markets. Understanding of industry trends, compliance-driven mandates, and the relevant impact on client business strategy and challenges
    • Knowledge of French OR Spanish OR Italian language
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Proven ability to translate customer insights and requirements into compelling solutions leveraging the GE offering portfolio and roadmap
    • Proven experience in selling complex, integrated technology-based business solutions
    • Proven track record for meeting sales quotas, managing forecasts, and managing pipelines
    • Demonstrated program management ability
    • Demonstrated ability to manage channel partners and orchestrate deal teams
    • Experience in working in multi-cultural environment

    Qualifications souhaitées

    • Expérience professionnelle des marchés Maritime, Centrales fixes et Forage ; connaissance des tendances du marché, des mandats ayant trait à la conformité, et de leur impact exact sur la stratégie client et les défis connexes
    • Maîtrise du français OU de l’espagnol OU de l’italien
    • Excellentes compétences de communication tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit
    • Excellentes qualités relationnelles et compétences d'encadrement
    • Capacité reconnue à traduire les renseignements et les exigences transmis par le client en solutions intéressantes, en exploitant le portefeuille d’offres et la feuille de route de GE
    • Expérience reconnue de la vente de solutions complexes basées sur une technologie intégrée
    • Capacité reconnue à respecter les quotas de vente, à gérer les prévisions et à exploiter les sources d’opportunités
    • Aptitude avérée à gérer un programme
    • Capacité reconnue à gérer des partenaires intermédiaires et à coordonner les équipes impliquées dans le projet
    • Expérience professionnelle dans un environnement multiculturel
