Role Summary: Supervise operation of powerplant equipment. Ensuring consistent operating procedures and policies for the facility .
Essential Responsibilities: In addition you will :
Ensuring GE and EHS regulatory reporting, (air water compliance)
Maintain utilities documentation (equipment history files, fuel usage, etc.)
Driving customer service and work completion based on priorities in the powerplant.
Maintenance lock out tag out (LOTO)
Supervise operation of powerplant equipment.
Maintaining facilities equipment such as fire protection, water, compressed air
Maintaining and generating procedures for preventative maintenance
Planning, scheduling, forecasting, and balancing department workload
Managing facilities projects for cost, schedule, safety and quality
Maintaining gas and power usage and develop energy cost reductions
Participating in Emergency Preparedness and Fire Prevention programs
Responsible for Lock Out Tag Out program
Ensuring consistent operating procedures and policies for the facility
Reporting on maintenance accomplishments in the areas of safety corrective actions and improvements, PM’s, repair work orders, and improvement projects
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Facility Management
Massachusetts 2nd Class Engineers License or higher
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
