Role Summary: The Manufacturing Engineering Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Essential Responsibilities: • Execute the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements • Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements • Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments • Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to engineering problems • Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams and mentor others in the organization • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures • Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments • Lead or participate in organizational efforts in assigned projects and tasks • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews • Lead special projects as directed by work requests from Engineering or Project Management, which may cover technical advances in producibility / capability studies • Effectively integrate new concepts that can aid in the assignment of both equipment hardware and software as related to computer build technology, advanced process capability and material handling concepts • Communicate with Design, Quality, Production Engineering, and Project Management on technical state of each assigned program on a periodic basis
Qualifications/Requirements: a. Education - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related
b. Working experience - 10 years’ mechanical working experience, Aerospace industry and international companies are preferred.
c. Specific knowledge - Familiar with AutoCAD software. - UG or CATIA is preferred. -Milling or Turning is preferred.
