Role Summary: The Senior Contract Performance Manager is the focal point with the GE Oil & Gas customer (TRANSOCEAN) for all the operational topics, being the key interface for all aspects of the contractual service agreement. He/she will be involved with managing planning, delivery, financials and customer relationship of the service contractual portfolio.
Essential Responsibilities: The manager will also demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate & develop processes that meet business needs across the organization and manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise.
In the role of Senior Contract Performance Manager, you will:
Plan / coordinate activities on site of a larger project to fulfill the customer order according to financial / commercial parameters and ensure customer satisfaction
Provide contract administration for assigned proposals and contract including customer interface, negotiations, preparation, and contract interpretation
Oversee Subsea Maintenance coordinator workload and review preparation to ensure rigorous, consistent, accurate and high quality portfolio reviews
Provide contract management support in the execution of equipment only orders for domestic and international contracts
Provide support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts
Frequently interface with the customer on contract matters
Liaise with the contract management team on contract interpretation issues and supporting dispute resolution if appropriate
May perform team leader responsibilities for assigned programs
Provide interface liaison with functional organizations and ensure proper communication of requirements
Continually review processes to ensure overall efficiency
Responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships
Responsible for quality of delivery, schedule, and budget
Drive risk evaluation and mitigation mindset in business
Develop Enhanced Project Management programs and processes that reduce total cycle time and span
Implement common process across the business, which result in dramatically improved quality and efficiency in project delivery
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (OR high school diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution and minimum 9 years of Oil Industry experience)
Minimum 5 years of Oil Industry experience
Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Subsea BOP general knowledge
Project Management experience, Risk or Contractual Service Agreements experience
Ability to work proactively in a fast pace environment
Strong leadership – strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
Be responsible for financial performance of the contract and ability to take lead role in routine contracts
Six Sigma training is preferred (GE employees only)
Additional experience in contract administration or project management is preferred
Sound business and financial acumen, Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
