Role Summary:
The Global Operations Finance Team in the US is undergoing significant organizational change as
we absorb activities from the various GE businesses and broaden our scope in line with the
Company’s global enterprise standards. The Senior Project Manager is a role to provide project
leadership for the integration and simplification initiatives in line with the new service delivery
strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:
Facilitate development and execution of the operational integration plan in line with the global and US strategies and corporate input from multiple stakeholder groups and balance requirements in the following key areas:
  • Operational stability
  • Quality, Speed, and Cost
  • Lead the execution of assigned integration and simplification projects in accordance with the defined program methodology.
  • Establish close linkage and alignment with the business controllership, the regional leaders and subject matter experts and the US process leaders.
  • Lead, track and ensure quality and completeness of knowledge transfer.
  • Coordinate final review and approval of process documentation.
  • Drive service readiness.
  • Work with IT integration to confirm technology requirements.
  • Plan and prepare go/no-go service readiness assessment meeting.
  • Support post go live stabilization.
  • Lead other critical projects related to service quality, productivity, process simplification, digitization and harmonization as required.
  • Be a broad based member of the Program Management Office, contributing beyond immediate responsibilities.
  • Operate constructively within a matrix organization, ultimately driving aligned and clear expectations for the organization.
  • Retain an external focus outside immediate project and within shared services to remain current on industry trends.


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in relevant field

  • Experience managing complex, multi-faceted projects.
  • Excellent influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, including fluency in English.
  • Finance shared services experience, or as a minimum a solid understanding of shared\\ services dynamics.
  • Strong ownership & accountability, with a proven track record of execution.
  • Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills.
  • Effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions.
  • Anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans.
  • Strategic thinker; proven ability to anticipate, and resolve complicated issues. Ability to drive process excellence and standardization.
  • Ability to build regulatory & compliance requirements into project requirements.
  • Budget & resource management skills.
  • Cultural awareness & sensitivity: ability to flex style to suit differing cultural norms and experience of leading a culturally diverse team.
  • Good understanding of core Finance operational processes
  • Prior GE experience and exposure, ideally including Finance management roles in other GE businesses.
  • Expertise in Quality.
  • Strong networks across the GE Finance community
