Role Summary:
The HR Process Improvement Specialist will be responsible for simplification and standardization of HR practices for the Schenectady Manufacturing operations. This includes identifying opportunities for improvement and driving control mechanisms across the organization with the focus on a zero-defect environment.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Analyze current processes to proactively identify opportunities to standardize, simplify and digitize operational processes; reduce defects and drive continuous improvements
• Drive sustainable wing-to-wing process simplification and standardization initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
• Develop process flow charts, where necessary to improve processes and establish control mechanisms to prevent recurrence
• Drive data quality initiatives & VOC improvement projects, identifying best practices from other GE businesses and/or outside GE, ensuring current processes meet or exceed industry standards
• Lead all hourly staffing and job placement for the organization
• Provide union relations support to the organization as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, with a major in Human Resources, or Industrial Engineering
• Minimum 2-years prior professional work experience

• Excellent organizational skills, able to multitask and work with strict deadlines
• Excellent proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Thorough understanding of transactional HR processes
