Role Summary: All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Subsea Maintenance Coordinator – TRANSOCEAN you will:
Develop long range schedule (2 years) for rig / equipment maintenance intervals (work w/ customer & operator wells schedule)
Develop long range spare parts consumption forecast (based on above schedule)
Develop long range capital spares usage / O&R forecast (based on above schedule)
Develop discrete BOP EOW / maintenance schedules O Utilize GE “5 phase” process O Scope, parts, schedule, 3rd party (organize & coordinate) O Develop and drive lessons learned for above scope O Coordinate w/ rig and customer on all above tasks (may require offshore work)
Coordinate combined GE effort regarding warranty, engineering bulletins, upgrades, PNIs, issue resolutions, 5-year recertification & Overhaul & repair of BOP components O Works with customer to identify the needs & installation schedule O Works with GE Engineering / Sourcing / Warehouse / Logistics / Field support to coordinate parts needs / shipment and coordinate field service installation on the rig
Coordinate with GE team to provide proposals for the above work (when required) and gain purchase order from customer
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED with 10 years of experience in a BOP subsea Support role)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a BOP subsea Support role
Subsea BOP general knowledge
Strong planning / schedule building knowledge
Knowledgeable in MS Project use
Project Management experience
Minimum 7 years Oil Industry experience
Ability to work proactively in a fast pace environment
Willingness to occasionally work after hours and weekends
Possesses strong passion for ensuring voice of customer is included in solutions
Strong clear thinking abilities and ability to communicate effectively with customers, Field Service personnel and different functions within GE Organization
Ability to lead and influence cross-functionally
Strong oral and written communication skills
