Role Summary: The production operator provides the blending of products according to prescribed recipes in the right quantities and at the right quality. The production operator also provides analysis of the products and packages them into the receptacles indicated.
Essential Responsibilities: • Creation of chemicals according blending process • Testing of chemicals produced according to the instructions • Packaging of goods produced in the prescribed packaging form (including loading of bulk trucks) • Ensure a clean and safe working environment • Support maintenance • Unloading trucks, checking labels, storing goods in the right location. • Picking of goods based on picking lists. • Preparation of the goods for shipment according to the procedures defined by GE and current legislation. • Load the truck with the shipping goods as defined by GE and current legislation. • Ensure a clean and safe working environment. • Reception of goods and registration in SAP. • When in possession of large orders, transferring goods from the production site to the Warehouse and vice versa. • Assisting in waste collection and in the collection of goods that can be recycled • Coordinating storage and disposal of waste according to applicable procedures and legislation. • Can be asked to assist for other tasks such as cleaning SBC, 1st aid, maintenance.
Qualifications/Requirements: • 3-5 years’ experience in warehouse and driving forklift. • Forklift license • English knowledge • Basic PC • Practical experience in a production environment • Basic knowledge of chemistry • Flexible working hours is a must, (night shift).
