Role Summary: He will responsible to develop the manufacturing requirement for Advanced Turboprop (ATP) component special process as part of the ATP activities. He/she is responsible to manage external supplier and coordinate internal interfaces (i.e. engineering, supply chain, certifying agent, quality, sourcing), to assure the development and completion on time & cost and according to engineering & quality requirements.
Main responsible for coordination of all the development activities for the special processes (SP) to be applied on GEAC manufactured components. Focal point from manufacturing side to support the certification and qualification activities for the same processes,
Main coordination activities:
Collaborate with GEAC Sourcing and SQE during the initial phase for supplier selection and development of collaboration agreement w/t SP supplier;
Coordinate SP supplier during the SP development activities to assure all the activities are performed on time, on quality and on cost;
Responsible as main interface between SP supplier and all GE functions. In particular, as technical coordination between supplier and engineering (Eng. hardware owner and material engineer) for any supplier request;
Responsible to involve, support and coordinate SQE and certifying agent (CA) during the whole qualification and certification process. Assuring tech plan and all quality requirements are developed per GEA system.
Strong Knowledge of engine component manufacturing and technologies,
Proven experience in NPI manufacturing activities and co-development with supplier,
Previous experience in coordinating cross functional team and work in international environment,
Fluent in English language.
